Union Minister Shri C. R. Paatil Reviews Progress of Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation

Union Minister for Jal Shakti Shri C. R. Paatil chaired a review meeting assessing the progress of projects, programmes, schemes, and initiatives under the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. Presentations were delivered by the National Mission for Clean Ganga, Central Water Commission, Central Ground Water Board, and State Projects. Discussions centered on project status, implementation challenges, work quality, and methods to accelerate execution. The Union Minister directed the speedy resolution of bottlenecks to prevent cost escalations, streamline Detailed Project Report guidelines, adopt latest technologies for hydrological modernization and flood forecasting, and strengthen Centre-State coordination.
