NCSC Chairman Shri Kishor Makwana Conferred Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Jan Seva Award 2026

National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) Chairman Shri Kishor Makwana was conferred the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Jan Seva Award 2026 during the 16th edition of the Sansad Ratna Awards 2026 held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. The award recognizes his dedicated service, leadership, and contribution towards advancing social justice, securing rights, dignity, and constitutional safeguards for Scheduled Castes. The ceremony was attended by Union Minister of Coal and Mines Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of State Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, former NCBC Chairman Shri Hansraj Ahir, and Justice B.R. Gavai. The award was given by the Prime Point Foundation and the Sansad Ratna Awards Committee.
