Goan Creators Urged to Participate in Gems of India Challenge

Akashvani and Doordarshan Kendra Panaji organized a press conference to encourage Goan creators, videographers, and storytellers to participate in the Gems of India Challenge 2026. The nationwide initiative invites original 1 to 3-minute videos showcasing India's heritage, culture, traditions, and tourism. The challenge offers recognition and cash prizes of ₹50,000 at the district level, ₹2 lakh at the state level, and ₹5 lakh at the national level. Entries are open until September 30, 2026, and participants can register via the WAVES mobile application under the 'My Waves' section.
