Raksha Mantri calls on Sri Lankan Prime Minister in Colombo

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh called on the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, in Colombo on September 09, 2026. Discussions centered on development cooperation, reviewing progress in education, information technology, infrastructure, innovation, and research, alongside ancient civilisational ties and people-to-people exchanges. The Raksha Mantri emphasized capacity building and a shared developmental vision for regional peace, prosperity, and welfare as sister democracies.
