Union Health Ministry Organises National Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on Fluorosis on National Fluorosis Day

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare organized a National Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on Fluorosis on National Fluorosis Day to strengthen the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Fluorosis (NPPCF). Conducted through the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the event brought together representatives from various ministries, research councils, and medical institutions to deliberate on prevention, early detection, management, and control of fluorosis. Discussions emphasized inter-sectoral convergence with drinking water and sanitation sectors, expanding programme reach, and leveraging research, innovation, and real-time information sharing.
