7th Global Fintech Fest 2026

The 7th Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026 is held in Mumbai from 8 to 11 September 2026, organized principally by the Payments Council of India, National Payments Corporation of India, and Fintech Convergence Council, with support from various government bodies and regulators. The theme of GFF 2026 is 'Potential to Impact: Agentic AI | Tokenisation | Quantum: Trusted, Connected, Global Systems for Inclusive Finance.' The release highlights India's fintech landscape, driven by Digital Public Infrastructure including the JAM Trinity, UPI, Aadhaar, DigiLocker, Direct Benefit Transfer, and ONDC. It also outlines key regulatory and consumer protection mechanisms established by the government and the Reserve Bank of India, such as the SRO-FT framework, Digital Payment Security Controls, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and regulatory sandboxes.
