11th Ayurveda Day 2026 to be Celebrated in Nagpur, Maharashtra under the Theme “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow”

The Ministry of Ayush hosted a curtain-raiser press conference for the 11th Ayurveda Day 2026, scheduled to be celebrated on 23 September 2026 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The theme for the event is “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow” (‘स्वस्थ भविष्य के लिए आयुर्वेद’). The nationwide campaign aims to promote integrative healthcare, evidence-based research and innovation in Ayurveda, and community wellbeing linked with sustainable living. Key initiatives announced include the National Dhanwantari Ayurveda Awards 2026, safety dossiers on medicinal plants, Standard Treatment Guidelines for skin diseases, a report on the Ayush Services Sector, and Ayush Vision 2030, with officials urging the initiative to evolve into a national health communication campaign.
