Vice-President to visit Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh from September 6 to 9

The Vice-President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, is scheduled to visit Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh from September 6 to 9, 2026. The four-day itinerary includes participation in academic, cultural, and public events, as well as visits to historical, social, and national institutions across the four northeastern states. Key engagements listed include the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Geetanagar College and the Convocation Ceremony of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences in Guwahati, foundation stone laying at Gauhati University, a public reception in Shillong, visits to the INA Museum and War Memorial at Moirang and Sainik School Imphal, a special session of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, and visits to other local cultural and educational institutions.
