NIFT joint convocation 2026 held in presence of Hon’ble President of India

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Joint Convocation 2026 was held on 31 August 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, featuring 315 graduating students from NIFT Mumbai alongside students from 18 NIFT campuses nationwide. Graced by the President of India as the Chief Guest, along with the Union Minister of Textiles and other dignitaries, the event highlighted the role of design education in supporting traditional weavers and artisans through NIFT's Craft Cluster Initiative. Speakers emphasized global competitiveness, sustainability, the use of local materials, recycling of textile waste, and contributions toward the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
