Ministry of Law and Justice Celebrates National Sports Day 2026 with Two Day Sports Meet

The Ministry of Law and Justice (Legislative Department and Department of Legal Affairs) organized a two-day sports meet on 1 and 2 September 2026 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi, to commemorate National Sports Day 2026. Over 300 employees and officers, including personnel from Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan and the Official Languages Wing, participated in various sporting events such as cricket, races, tug-of-war, and ball throw. The event aimed to promote the Fit India Movement by encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and wellbeing among the workforce. The initiative concluded with a prize distribution ceremony led by the Additional Secretary and senior officers, who emphasized the importance of integrating physical activity into public service to foster discipline and resilience.
