India and Germany Strengthen Cooperation for Sustainable Development

The Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, held a bilateral meeting in New Delhi with German Federal Minister Mr. Carsten Schneider. The meeting focused on reviewing and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. Discussions included energy security, electrification, low carbon development, carbon markets, and the diversification of supply chains. Both sides noted the milestone of 75 years of diplomatic relations and 25 years of Strategic Partnership, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing a secure, affordable, and sustainable energy future.
