Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan to chair High-Level Meeting with Banks and State Rural Livelihoods Missions in Mumbai

Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan is set to chair a high-level meeting in Mumbai with banks and State Rural Livelihoods Missions to discuss Self Help Group (SHG) bank linkages and individual enterprise financing under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). The mission has mobilized over 10 crore rural women into more than 93 lakh SHGs with a cumulative credit disbursement exceeding Rs. 13.67 lakh crore, resulting in 3.46 crore Lakhpati Didis. The meeting will focus on strategies such as doubling the individual enterprise credit portfolio, enhancing disbursement quantum, reducing loan turnaround time, and implementing the Financial Inclusion 2.0 vision.
