Advisor to Prime Minister, Shri Tarun Kapoor Reviews BCCL's Key Projects and Operations

Shri Tarun Kapoor, Advisor to the Prime Minister, chaired a high-level review meeting at Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL)'s headquarters in Koyla Bhawan during an official visit to Dhanbad and surrounding regions. The meeting evaluated BCCL's major operational activities, coking coal production, reserves, performance indicators up to 2030-31, technological initiatives like Longwall and Highwall mining, washery performance, and the restructuring of opencast blocks in the Jharia Coalfield. Additionally, the Advisor inspected the Coal Bed Methane (CBM) Block-I Project, the Moonidih XVI Seam Longwall Project, and the ENA Fire Project in the Kusunda Area, where he reviewed fire management, safety measures, and interacted with families from high-risk areas regarding safety and rehabilitation.
