Raksha Mantri & UP Chief Minister perform Bhoomi Pujan for 14 development projects worth over Rs 100 crore at Lucknow Cantonment

Raksha Mantri and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh performed the Bhoomi Pujan for 14 development projects worth over Rs 100 crore at Lucknow Cantonment on August 30, 2026. The projects encompass water supply, education, healthcare, sports, sanitation, parking, and civic amenities, including two projects implemented in collaboration with the state government (RA Bazar City Polyclinic and Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Coaching Centre). During the event, officials listened to the Prime Minister's 'Mann ki Baat' programme. Additionally, several British-era market names in Lucknow Cantonment were renamed after personalities from India's freedom struggle and national life.
