Research, innovation and industry-academia collaboration key to India’s progress: Vice President

Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan stated that research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration are crucial for India's progress while addressing the Founders’ Day Celebrations of the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology (KVIT) Trust in Erode. He urged the youth to transition from basic education to research-oriented education and prepare for emerging fields like artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors, quantum technology, biotechnology, and digital technology. During the event, the Vice President inaugurated ‘Arivukoodam’ and witnessed the exchange of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Anchor Industries and Arivukoodam – A Research Park to enhance industry-academia linkages.
