Union Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya leads National Sports Day celebrations at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium

The nation observed National Sports Day, marking the 121st birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, with events led by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister of Law and Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. The celebrations featured the nationwide 'Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein' initiative, designed to encourage citizens and youth to dedicate time to physical activity and strengthen the Fit India Movement. Activities included cricket matches featuring Ministry XI, SAI XI, Media XI, and Influencers XI teams, alongside football and tug of war.
