Visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz Republic (29 August-1 September 2026)

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan from August 29–30, 2026, for a bilateral State Visit to Tashkent, followed by a visit to the Kyrgyz Republic from August 31 to September 1, 2026, to attend the 26th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit. During the bilateral visit in Uzbekistan, delegation-level talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will cover trade, investment, defence, digital connectivity, energy, education, and people-to-people ties, alongside sharing perspectives on Viksit Bharat 2047 and Uzbekistan-2030. In Bishkek, the Prime Minister will participate in the SCO Summit marking its 25th anniversary, highlight India's priorities of Security, Connectivity, and Opportunity, hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines, and attend the Opening Ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.
