High-Powered Task Force Invites Suggestions on Reforms in Public Examinations

The Government of India has constituted a High-Powered Task Force (HPTF), chaired by Shri Nandan Nilekani, to examine and recommend comprehensive reforms in public examinations, including those conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Task Force aims to strengthen institutional systems, ensure examination security and integrity, deploy appropriate technologies, and safeguard student well-being. To formulate its recommendations, the HPTF has invited suggestions from students, parents, teachers, academic institutions, examination bodies, technology professionals, industry organizations, civil society, and other stakeholders. Submissions are requested by September 13, 2026, through a designated website, phone line, WhatsApp, or email in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
