President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, celebrates Raksha Bandhan with students from schools across the country at Rashtrapati Bhavan

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with school students from 17 states, one Union Territory, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti at Rashtrapati Bhavan. During the event, involving 122 participants including students, teachers, and Children with Special Needs (CwSN), the President urged students to extend the values of Raksha Bandhan to the environment by tying rakhis to trees and committing to their preservation. As part of an educational visit, the participants also toured locations including Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, Amrit Udyan, the National Science Centre, and the National War Memorial.
