MCA convenes ‘Tech for Professionals’ Workshop on Building India’s Digital Infrastructure for Professional Services

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), supported by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), organized the 'Tech for Professionals' Workshop in New Delhi on August 27, 2026. The event focused on building India's digital infrastructure for professional services through a shared Digital Public Good (DPG) framework. Following a Sub-Committee report submitted in May 2026, the proposed DPG framework targets three layers: curated technology access, learning and capability development, and knowledge and practice infrastructure. The workshop featured multiple technical sessions examining DPG integration for audit, compliance, and consulting, the role of technology firms, supervisory technology (SupTech), and implementation insights for small and medium practices.
