The Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation extended greetings on the occasion of 'World Sanskrit Day' and 'Raksha Bandhan' (Sawan Purnima). In his statement, he highlighted Sanskrit as the foundational basis of India's knowledge tradition, culture, and consciousness, describing the language as both ancient and scientific. He noted that the Vedas, Upanishads, and Shastras composed in Sanskrit have provided guidance on the path of knowledge for centuries.
