OFFICER TRAINEES OF INDIAN FOREIGN SERVICE CALL ON THE PRESIDENT

Officer Trainees of the Indian Foreign Service (2025 Batch) and two diplomats from Bhutan undergoing induction training at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service called on the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan. During the interaction, the President stated that India's global engagement must align with the principle of Rashtrahit Sarvopari and the aspirations of its people, contributing directly to national prosperity. The President advised the trainees to leverage opportunities in investment, technology, manufacturing, renewable energy, and innovation, and to engage broadly with universities, businesses, civil society, and the Indian diaspora. Additionally, the President emphasized utilizing technology while maintaining empathy, ensuring missions remain accessible during humanitarian and evacuation operations, and upholding integrity, humility, and professionalism.
