CGST Aurangabad Commissionerate Organises Outreach Programme on GST Developments, Taxpayer Services and Trade Facilitation

The CGST and Central Excise Aurangabad Commissionerate, in collaboration with the DGTS Mumbai Zonal Unit, organized an outreach programme and seminar-cum-webinar on August 25, 2026. The event focused on recent GST developments, trade facilitation, ease of doing business, taxpayer services, grievance redressal mechanisms, voluntary compliance, and CBIC's digital initiatives. The programme included a welcome address by the Pr. ADG of the DGTS Mumbai Zonal Unit, a keynote address by the Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise Aurangabad highlighting initiatives like SAMVAAD, Open Door Policy, and grievance mechanisms, and a detailed presentation on changes in GST law, GSTN portal updates, auto-approval of registrations, GST rate revisions, and the GST Appellate Tribunal.
