ICAT Issues First Compliance Certificate for 15-Metre Multi-Axle Sleeper Bus

The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) has issued its first compliance certificate for a 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus under standards AIS-119 and AIS-153, in accordance with the Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR). Awarded to Synaty Automotive Pvt. Ltd. at Manesar, Haryana, the certification covers a bus configuration designed for long-distance travel, available in a 42-berth fully sleeper variant or a 21-berth and 42-seat hybrid variant. The vehicle underwent testing for structural integrity, vehicle safety, fire safety, passenger accommodation, and comfort.
