Celebrating Grassroots Innovation at the Micro Food Processing Bazaar
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries hosted the PMFME (Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises) Bazaar on 24–25 August 2026 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Bringing together exhibitors from 25 States and Union Territories, the event served as a national showcase for micro food enterprises, SHGs, FPOs, cooperatives, and entrepreneurs to display value-added traditional products such as millets, spices, pickles, and snacks. Launched on 29 June 2020, the PMFME Scheme supports micro food enterprises through financial, technical, and business assistance, including credit-linked capital subsidies. The release highlights success stories of beneficiaries from Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Odisha whose operations and market reach expanded significantly following assistance under the scheme.
