SIDBI organizes a conclave of the Heads of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) on expanding SIDBI-RRB MSME Co-Lending arrangement

The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) organized a conclave of the Heads of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in New Delhi to expand the SIDBI-RRB MSME Co-Lending arrangement. Chaired by the Secretary of the Department of Financial Services (DFS), the event brought together officials from DFS, SIDBI, NABARD, and Chairmen of all 28 Regional Rural Banks. The initiative aims to scale up MSME lending in rural and semi-urban areas by combining SIDBI's credit expertise with the rural outreach of RRBs. Furthermore, SIDBI has developed an end-to-end digital Co-Lending Origination Platform to provide faster, paperless credit journeys and direct disbursements.
