Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah addressed the valedictory session of the Intelligence Bureau's 'National Security Strategies Conference' in New Delhi. He emphasized that strong internal security is the primary condition for achieving the target of a developed India by 2047. The Union Home Minister highlighted achievements in ending internal security challenges across three major hotspots through coordination among state police forces, central agencies, and CAPFs. He stressed the 100% implementation of three new criminal laws within a year to expedite justice and increase conviction rates, discussed initiatives against terrorism under the 'PRAHAR' framework, outlined the Narcotics Control Vision Document 2026–2029 based on the three Ds (Detect, Disrupt, Destroy), and reviewed a quadrangular border security approach to address infiltration. Furthermore, he noted technological integration through platforms like CCTNS, ICJS, NATGRID, NAFIS, and BHARATPOL, alongside strengthening the anti-fugitive mechanism.
