National Commission for Minorities Celebrates Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi

The National Commission for Minorities (NCM) celebrated Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi at its office in New Delhi to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. The event brought together members of the Muslim community and NCM officials to discuss the Prophet's teachings on peace, compassion, social responsibility, and harmony. Key speakers included NCM Vice Chairperson Smt. S. Munawari Begum, Secretary Shri Suchindra Misra, and Joint Secretary Dr. Atya Nand. Discussions focused on nation-building, statutory safeguards for minorities, saving the girl child, and women's empowerment schemes such as Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. The programme concluded with prayers for national integration and brotherhood.
