MIB Organises National Conference with States/UTs I&PR Secretaries to Strengthen Centre-State Coordination

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting organized a National Conference with Secretaries of Information and Public Relations Departments of States and Union Territories in New Delhi to strengthen Centre-State coordination in information, broadcasting, media, and the creative economy. Chaired by the Ministry's Secretary, the conference discussed leveraging regional talent, infrastructure, ease of doing business, and national platforms like WAVES 2027, WAVES Bazaar, and the Create in India Challenges. Key subjects included the Right of Way mechanism for cable operators, public service broadcasting infrastructure, the single-window Indian Cine Hub portal for film and live events, capacity building for DIPR officers, and digital transition under the Press and Registration of Periodicals Act, 2023.
