‘Khelo India Samvaad’ to be held on August 27 on the occasion of National Sports Day

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is organizing 'Khelo India Samvaad' on August 27, 2026, ahead of National Sports Day. The nationwide programme is conducted in collaboration with My Bharat, the Sports Authority of India (SAI), and the National Service Scheme (NSS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to interact virtually with over 8 lakh youth participating from 1,600 locations. The initiative features 'Yuva Connect' events in colleges across districts, bringing together youth, public representatives, and eminent sportspersons. Discussions and suggestions collected via QR codes will center around four key themes: strengthening the sports ecosystem, talent development for the 2036 Olympics, youth leadership in governance, and youth empowerment for a developed India.
