Raksha Mantri approves Transfer of Technology of DRDO-developed missile systems to Indian defence industry to bolster indigenous manufacturing

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh approved the transfer of DRDO-developed technologies for all conventional missile systems to the Indian defence industry to enable domestic production. This Transfer of Technology aims to promote greater participation of domestic industries, MSMEs, and technology partners, supporting qualifications, certifications, and regulatory requirements. The initiative is designed to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, strengthen the defence industrial base, reduce import dependence, increase domestic value addition, and boost operational capabilities while fostering the growth of India's defence manufacturing sector.
