Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the 9th two-day National Security Strategies (NSS) Conference-2026 in New Delhi. The hybrid event saw participation from over 850 officials, including Union Ministers of State for Home Affairs, police leadership, CAPF/CPO heads, and domain experts. Discussions on the first day covered counter-terrorism, intelligence fusion via the Multi Agency Centre (MAC), narcotics control, illegal migrants, cyber-crime policy, and proxy warfare. The Home Minister emphasized training for the PRAHAAR scheme, use of trial in absentia for fugitives, integrated UAPA investigations, and AI-based analysis on MAC platforms. The second day focused on sub-aerial threats, blue economy security, information warfare, and bio-security frameworks.
