Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal addresses Japanese Business Federation in Tokyo

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal addressed the Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) in Tokyo during his visit leading India's largest-ever business delegation. The visit marks the 'India-Japan Year of Shared Horizons,' celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations. Discussions focused on expanding bilateral ties into strategic and economic sectors such as economic security, defence, supply-chain resilience, technology, innovation, clean energy, semiconductors, and capital goods. The Minister invited Japanese companies to double their presence in India this decade and engaged with major corporate leadership, including Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Tokyo Electron, and MinebeaMitsumi.
