Third Meeting of India-Cambodia Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment (JWGTI) Held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The Third Meeting of the India-Cambodia Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment (JWGTI) was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, co-chaired by officials from India and Cambodia. Both sides noted that bilateral trade grew by over 36% to USD 406.78 million in 2025-26, with additional year-on-year growth during the April-June 2026 quarter. Discussions covered trade diversification, traditional medicine, e-governance, the digital payment linkage between UPI and KHQR, custom cooperation, agriculture, market access, and a Bilateral Investment Treaty. Additionally, meetings were held with the Indian Business Chamber in Cambodia to discuss priority sectors and private-sector feedback mechanisms.
