NA-Allocated Talabira II & III Coal Mines Mark Record Production in FY 2025-26

The Talabira II & III Open Cast Coal Mine in Odisha, allocated to NLC India Ltd. under the Nominated Authority framework, achieved record performance in FY 2025-26 with an annual coal production of 19.14 MT and dispatch of 17.69 MT. The mine supplies coal to the power sector and non-regulated sectors across multiple states. It has integrated digital technologies such as the Digital Logistics Management System, surface miners, and drone-based surveying to improve efficiency. Additionally, the project incorporates environmental management practices, safety protocols, employment generation, and corporate social responsibility initiatives in local communities.
