Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Smt. Raksha Khadse Lead BRICS Friendship Cycling Event in Visakhapatnam

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Smt. Raksha Khadse led the BRICS Friendship Cycling Event in Visakhapatnam. Held during the 87th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle, the event coincided with the BRICS Youth & Sports Ministers' Meeting hosted by India. Ministers and Heads of Departments from Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, the UAE, Iran, and South Africa participated alongside Indian leadership. The initiative, themed around 'Unnat Bharat Abhiyan', featured nationwide participation across more than 18,000 locations, incorporating fitness activities, community pledges against substance abuse (Nasha Mukt Bharat), and promotion of health, fitness, and environmental sustainability.
