LOKAYAN 2026 – INS SUDARSHINI ARRIVES IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

The Indian Navy’s sail training ship, INS Sudarshini, arrived in Lisbon, Portugal, on August 22, 2026, as part of its ongoing Lokayan 26 transoceanic expedition. Entering through the Tagus River, the three-masted barque's port call includes professional exchanges, cross-deck visits, and cultural engagements with Portuguese naval leadership, local authorities, and the Indian diaspora. This visit marks the ship's 15th port visit in seven months of voyaging, aimed at reinforcing India's maritime connections, goodwill, and international cooperation with partner nations.
