Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal Leads A 200-Member Business Delegation to Japan

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal is leading a business delegation of over 200 representatives to Japan from 24 to 27 August 2026, covering Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The four-day visit aims to deepen trade and investment ties under the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between India and Japan. The itinerary features bilateral talks with Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), H.E. Mr. Akazawa Ryosei, interactions with Keidanren, industrial roundtables, sector-specific sessions on semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and start-ups, and roadshows in Nagoya and Osaka targeting manufacturing, automotive, steel, clean energy, and electronics sectors.
