National Sports Day: MY Bharat Goa, NSS Goa State to organise Prime Minister's virtual interaction programme in Goa on Aug 27

MY Bharat Goa and NSS Goa State, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, are organizing a virtual interaction programme between youth and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 27 in the run-up to National Sports Day. Held at four educational institutions across North and South Goa, the programme features participation from students, NSS volunteers, and national-level sportspersons. The initiative is aimed at encouraging youth participation in sports, promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles, and is observed annually on August 29 to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey player Major Dhyan Chand.
