BRICS Youth and Sports Ministers’ Meeting to take place in Visakhapatnam on August 22 & 23, 2026

India is hosting the BRICS Youth Ministers’ Meeting and the BRICS Sports Ministers’ Meeting in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on August 22 and 23, 2026, under India’s BRICS Chairship 2026. Chaired by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the events bring together delegates from 11 BRICS member countries. The meetings operate under India's theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability”. The Youth Ministers' Meeting focuses on education, skills, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, culminating in the BRICS Youth Ministerial Joint Declaration and Youth Cooperation Framework. The Sports Ministers' Meeting focuses on traditional sports, sports technology, and manufacturing, concluding with a Sports Joint Declaration alongside a BRICS Friendship Cycling Event and bilateral meetings.
