Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh delivers inaugural address at BRICS Science Ministerial Meet at Chennai

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh delivered the inaugural address at the 14th BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Ministerial Meeting in Chennai. India's BRICS Presidency for 2026 is themed “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.” The Minister highlighted emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced materials, biotechnology, photonics, geospatial technologies, and high-performance computing. He emphasized India's initiatives, including the National Quantum Mission, National Supercomputing Mission, BioE3 Policy, National Geospatial Policy, and Digital Public Infrastructure ecosystem, while calling for stronger international collaboration and equitable partnerships among BRICS nations.
