India and Brazil sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation in Telecommunications and ICTs

India and Brazil signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). The signing took place on the sidelines of the BRICS ICT Track Meeting (also referred to as the 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting) in Pune by Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Brazil's Minister of Communications, H.E. Mr. Frederico de Siqueira Filho. The MoU establishes a framework for regular information exchange, sharing experiences, and best practices in areas such as universal connectivity, cybersecurity, Digital Public Infrastructure, AI, 5G and 6G, Open RAN, IoT, satellite management, and digital inclusion, grounded in principles of equality and mutual benefit.
