Union Minister of Communications, Sh. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia Leads 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting in Pune, Emphasizes Sustainable ICT Infrastructure and Digital Inclusivity

The 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting was held in Pune, Maharashtra, under India's Chairship, led by Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia. The ICT Track under India's Chairship was introduced with the theme "Innovate, Cooperate and Transform (ICT) for a Resilient Future", anchored on four pillars: sustainable and resilient digital and ICT ecosystems, cybersecurity and trustworthy ICT, digital skilling and capacity building, and innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. Discussions focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Next Gen Networks, SATCOM, Cloud Computing, and Digital Public Infrastructure. The event was preceded by working group meetings, the Digital BRICS Forum, and an Expo showcasing cutting-edge telecom solutions.
