2nd BRICS 2026 Tourism Working Group Meeting Held in Jaipur

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, hosted the 2nd BRICS 2026 Tourism Working Group Meeting in Jaipur, Rajasthan, under India's BRICS Chairship. Chaired by Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, the meeting brought together delegates from BRICS Member States to advance cooperation under the overarching theme 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.' Discussions focused on India's four thematic priorities: Artificial Intelligence and Tourism, Sustainability and Responsible Tourism, Tourism Skilling and Capacity Building, and Tourism Exchanges and Seamless Travel Facilitation. The deliberations serve as a basis for the upcoming BRICS Tourism Ministers' Meeting, alongside a technical visit for delegates to Jaipur's heritage sites.
