From Financial Constraints to Digital Entrepreneurship: Amit Arya’s Journey to Self-Employment

Amit Arya, an OBC category resident of Haryana, overcame financial constraints and limited local employment opportunities by establishing a Digital Service Centre (DSC) in his village. After learning about financial assistance at an awareness camp organized by HBCKN, he applied for and received a ₹1.00 lakh Term Loan in 2019 under the NBCFDC scheme. This funding allowed him to successfully start his enterprise, which offers digital and e-governance services to rural citizens. The venture currently generates an annual income of approximately ₹2.30 lakh, providing financial stability, enabling regular loan repayment, and facilitating local access to e-governance.
