TDB-DST Supports OrthoGraft Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara, Gujarat for Commercialization of Advanced Tissue-Derived Biological Dressings for Wound Care

The Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science & Technology (DST) has extended financial assistance to M/s OrthoGraft Pvt. Ltd. in Vadodara, Gujarat, for the commercialization and production setup of advanced tissue-derived biological dressings. The startup focuses on developing indigenous tissue substitutes for wound-care applications such as chronic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, and burns. The project involves processing human tissue into shelf-stable substitutes while retaining biological and structural characteristics. The production infrastructure will be established at the Savli Technology Business Incubator, Vadodara, with the company holding CDSCO manufacturing licences for testing purposes and maintaining collaborations with institutions like IIT Ropar and tertiary-care hospitals.
