“Gems of India” Challenge Invites Goan Content Creators to Showcase Goa’s Heritage and Culture

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has invited content creators, videographers, and storytellers in Goa to participate in the "Gems of India" Challenge. Held nationwide from August 1 to August 31, 2026, the initiative builds upon the MyWAVES citizen creator platform under WAVES OTT. Participants are required to create a 1 to 3-minute video showcasing Goa's heritage, culture, traditions, and tourism landmarks. Submissions can be made via the WAVES app. The challenge offers cash prizes and recognition at district, State, and national levels, amounting up to ₹50,000, ₹2 lakh, and ₹5 lakh respectively.
