India’s Biggest Semiconductor Event to be held in Yashobhoomi, New Delhi from 17th – 19th September 2026

The fifth edition of SEMICON India, themed “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,” is scheduled to be held from 17th to 19th September 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, and will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister. Jointly organized by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) under MeitY and SEMI, the event brings together stakeholders from the global semiconductor ecosystem. Government initiatives under the Semicon India Programme, including Semicon 1.0 (with 12 approved projects and 3 in commercial production) and the newly approved Semicon 2.0, aim to build a robust semiconductor ecosystem. Furthermore, the government supports research, innovation, and design by providing design tools to academic institutes and start-ups under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme, supporting Atmanirbhar Bharat.
