Two-Week Online Management Development Programme (MDP) for Ministry of Tourism Officials Concludes at NIWS–IITTM Goa

The Ministry of Tourism concluded a two-week online Management Development Programme (MDP) at the National Institute of Water Sports (NIWS), Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management (IITTM), Goa. The programme featured 40 sessions focused on tourism, management, leadership, governance, and contemporary tourism issues. It engaged participants through academic insights from industry experts, senior IAS officers, and senior faculty, alongside seminar paper presentations to foster research orientation. The initiative, led by IITTM, aimed to enhance the professional competencies of Ministry officials, supporting their leadership roles and continuous capacity building within the tourism sector. The valedictory session emphasized the necessity of ongoing learning for effective administration in the tourism industry.
