Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Delivers 2.89 Lakh Pucca Houses Worth ₹3,473 Crore to Rajasthan Under PMAY-G

During a visit to Baran, Rajasthan, Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan handed over approval letters for 2,89,355 pucca houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana‑Gramin (PMAY‑G) with a project outlay of ₹3,473 crore. A survey of 29,13,749 new beneficiaries has been completed, and after physical verification further houses will be sanctioned. The minister announced three eligibility reforms: owners of a two‑wheeler, women earning up to ₹15,000 per month (up from ₹10,000), and small farmers owning up to 5 acres unirrigated or 2.5 acres irrigated will now qualify for housing assistance. Additionally, ₹340.59 crore was approved for agricultural development schemes, and the target for ‘Lakhpati Didis’ was raised to 32 lakh women.
